Thank You From Director Tim Smith
I want to thank everyone who voted for me in the 2026 IAW International Executive Board Elections. I was indeed humbled to have had the chance to run unopposed again this term.
Serving you is an honor and a privilege I never take for granted. In Region 8 we are family, and I never forget that. When one hurts we all hurt and when one celebrates we all celebrate.
I pledge to you that Region 8 will continue to lead. We will have the best staff, the best locals and the best members. I wake up every day filled with passion and energy to do the best job for you that I can. I never forget that WE work for YOU.
Thank you again for the opportunity to serve you again over the next four years and thank you for your trust.
In Solidarity,
Tim Smith UAW Region 8 Director
