Region 8 Says Goodbye To
Clerical Staff Member Shannon Patrick
If you have ever placed a call to the Region 8 headquarters in Lebanon, Tennessee, chances are you may have spoke with Shannon Patrick. Shannon has been part of the Region 8 Clerical Staff for 17 years. Among other assignments, she has worked as the Director’s Secretary for a number of past directors.
Shannon is the daughter of retired Region 8 Representative Mike Brown. She is married to Kyle Patrick and they have two children, Shilo and Kullen. A few months ago, Shannon opened  Modern Revival, a home décor store in Watertown, Tennessee. Shannon has decided to leave the UAW to commit herself to her new enterprise. Her last day was May 30, 2025.
As a thank you for her service to UAW Region 8, a going away party was held on May 30, 2025 at the Region headquarters. To surprise Shannon, all four directors that she had worked for were in attendance. Gary Casteel, Ray Curry, Mitchell Smith and Tim Smith were all together to thank Shannon for her years of service.
“I cant say enough about the job that Shannon has done,” states UAW Region 8 Director Tim Smith. “Through four different administrations she has faithfully carried out her duties and went above and beyond what was required. We hate to see her go, but wish nothing but the best.” |
