Local 42 Members Standing Up
UAW members at Volkswagen in Chattanooga wore red shirts inside their plants and rallied at shift start for each shift yesterday, to show the VW bosses in Germany and the U.S. that UAW workers in America will not accept lower standards than those in Germany. Local 42 members aren't going to stop until they win the great first contract they deserve, and VW stops paying us pennies on the dollar to German workers doing the same labor. |
