Local 5286 Support Striking CWA Workers
On Monday August 26, 2024 members of UAW Local 5286 joined members of CWA Local 3605 and other CWA Locals from around Charlotte, NC in a show of solidarity during their strike of AT&T. We were told AT&T didn’t even send representatives to the table with the ability to make decisions. AT&T is trying to low ball these workers and continue their race to the bottom. The picket line stretched a block on both sides of Franklin Blvd in downtown Gastonia, NC with early morning traffic blowing their horns in support for the striking workers and working families everywhere. |
