CAP and Education Training at UAW Local 2426
On January 25, 2012 UAW Local 2426, Suffolk, VA hosted a training session that was facilitated by International Representative Bruce Pontia, Region 8 CAP Representative Jim Rogers and Education & Mobilization Representative Darren Petty.
President of Local 2426, Walter Parker, Jr., welcomed the members who attended. UAW Local 2426 represents the workers at the Planter’s Peanut facility in Suffolk, VA. So the next time you reach for the peanuts at the grocery store, pick the UAW packaged peanuts – Planter’s!
