Greetings Sisters and Brothers,

I hope you are all staying safe during this terrible pandemic. I know we have all been affected in some way during this time. Many of us have known someone who was infected, some, unfortunately, may have suffered the loss of a family member, or friend due to this awful virus. To those almost 300,000 families across the country, we offer our condolences, and prayers.
On the brighter side of things, at least two companies will be releasing vaccines in the next couple of weeks. It looks like the senior population will be given priority, right after healthcare workers, nursing home patients, and staff. So with that in mind, things hopefully will be looking much better by Spring, 2021. We've made it this far, let's not let our guard down now!
To update you on our current status, we have been informed by UAW President Rory Gamble that all UAW meetings are on hold until April 15. 2021. This includes our monthly retiree meetings. Our drop-in center will also remained closed. Our answering machine remains on during this time, so if you need help please call. .
I want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, or Happy Holidays! Our Florida Sun Coast Council plans to come roaring back in the next several months with a big  celebration. We want to see all of you at that first meeting! I will make sure to keep you informed as to when that will be. In the meantime, stay safe, wear your mask, and get that "shot in your arm" as soon as it's available. God Bless You!
In Solidarity,
Ray Davis, Chairman
