A Voice For Labor Derryberry Appointed To
Workforce Development Board

Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen has appointed UAW Local 1853 member and Tennessee State CAP Chairman Guy Z. Derryberry to a second state position.

On the State Workforce Development Board, Derryberry will have primary responsibility for advising the governor on all matters of workforce development strategy for the state of Tennessee. The most important function of the board is meeting the needs of business for skilled workers and the training, education and employment needs of individuals.
