Winners in Florida and Southern Pennsylvania State CAP Essay Contest

The Florida State CAP recently announced the winners in their annual Essay Contest, sponsored by the Florida State CAP Council and the International Union. This year’s essay topic was “What Organized Labor Means to Me.”

The winners were:
1st Place $1,200 – Autumn Keif Vanguard High School Marion County, Florida
2nd Place $1,000 – Jessica R. Ferreira Martin County High School Martin County, Florida
3rd Place $600 – Robert D. Van Winkle Seminole High School Seminole County, Florida
4th Place $400 – Billy Tarkington Stanton College Preparatory School Duval County, Florida

The South Central Pennsylvania CAP Steering Committee recently announced the winners in their annual Labor Essay Contest. The winners were:
1st Place $1200 – Lindsey Norton Susquehanna High School
2nd Place $1000 – Lindsey Wolf Central High School
3rd Place $600 – Andrew Bailey Susquehanna High School
4th Place $400 – Ashley Ruby Dover High School
